100 Things Post

My sister just did this post on her blog. She listed 100 things about her and their family. It was really cute so I'm going to give it a try! These are random thoughts in no particular order! I hope you do not get too bored reading!:)
1. Jason & I were high school sweethearts.
2. We have known each other since first grade.
3. Our first date was our Junior Prom.
4. We were engaged when we were 20 (that seems so young now!)
5. We have been married 8 1/2 years.
6. We have two precious girls and a little boy waiting in China.
7. I had a miscariage before Madelyn was born.
8. I have a doctorate degree.
9. Sometimes I wonder why I spent 8 years in college when a lot of days I just want to be a stay at home mom.
10. I'm not an organized person even though I want to be and try to be (sometimes) :)
11. My favorite color is blue.
12. I have a great family and wonderful friends.
13. I love God.
14. I love our church.
15. My greatest hope for my children is for them to love God and to follow his plan for their lives.
16. Madelyn is a lot like me.
17. Caroline is a lot like Jason.
18. Silas will be a lot like??? I can't wait to find out!
19. I might want to adopt another baby someday.
20. I never thought I would want 4 children.
21. I am not used to the idea of actually having a son. The other day I was thinking about how I needed to get hairbows to take to China. Then I remembered it was a BOY!
22. My favorite season is spring, although it bothers my allergies!
23. I hate being cold.
24. I like to cook.
25. I can't wait until Caroline grows out of her milk allergy. The peanut one doesn't bother me as much.
26. I am pleased with what I have accomplished in my 31 years.
27. I want a new deck for our house.
28. I drive a mini-van and love it even though I swore I would never drive one.
29. I love that my girls look totally different.
30. I love that my husand loves his job.
31. I love that Jason is outgoing.
32. I love surprises.
33. I love our dog Sadie.
34. This is getting hard! I wish I had time to exercise.
35. I don't have a favorite food, I like too many.
36. I hate when balloons pop.
37. I hate buying new shoes & pants. They never fit.
38. I can't belive M will be in kindergartend next year.
39. I wish I liked scrapbooking more.
40. Goal in life - be able to play the piano.
41. Goal - visit all 50 states
42. I play the cello.
43. So does Jason.
44. Madelyn thinks she wants to start violin next year.
45. I am not very atheletic.
46. I am okay with that.
47. I enjoy working in the yard.
48. I love spring flowers.
49. I do not weed eat. That is Jason's job.
50. Half way there!
51. I need lots of sleep.
52. I do not function well without sleep. I'm worried about this in China.
53. I liked my babies a lot more after they were sleeping through the night.
54. Can you tell sleep is important to me???
55. I'm glad my parents are still married.
56. I adore my grandparents.
57. I am not confrontational.
58. I wish I were not so sensitive.
59. I read into things people say to me too much.
60. I want another honeymoon.
61. I love going to the beach.
62. I love laying in a beach chair all day with no worries or responsibilities.
63. When we retire I'd love to have a beach house.
64. I am sometimes too hard on myself.
65. I have high expectations for lots of things. Probably too high.
66. I wish we could live in the city close to everything but still have like 5 acres.
67. I have asthma.
68. I like to read.
69. I love "Real Simple" magazine.
70. I wish I liked to clean.
71. I have lots of laundry to do.
72. I like that I have a job where I can just work part-time.
73. I can't wait to hold Silas.
74. I hope Silas fits into our family and attaches to us. I know it will come in time.
75. I love the movie "Father of the Bride"
76. I like Grey's anatomy.
77. I hate to admit that I enjoy reality TV like (gasp) The Bachelor.
78. I have been a bridesmaid in 5 weddings (maid of honor in 2).
79. We are having spaghetti for dinner. It's easy!
80. Poor Caroline has the flu.
81. I am a people pleaser.
82. I love the internet.
83. I do not know how to text message.
84. I need to learn.
85. Jason wants a bigger TV. He always thinks the "sound is going out" on our little 19 inch one!
86. The TV is on hold since we are adopting our son!
87. I have 3 nephews and 1 neice.
88. We recently went to Disney World. The girls are already asking to go back!
89. I'm glad my children are close in age.
90. I rarely shop for myself.
91. I cannot go barefoot anymore. Now that I am "in my 30's" my feet hurt!
92. I love sandles and flip flops.
93. I love sunsets.
94. I like rainy days.
95. I love our fireplace in the winter.
96. I'm glad that it is wood burning.
97. I love finding a good deal.
98. I'm glad I am a mom.
99. I love to watch my children sleep.
100. I am done!!!
